On February 1, 2022 is Imbolc, the Festival of light and usually on this day the return of the light is celebrated. However, on February 1, the new moon is already in the early morning hours, so you should plan your ceremony for the Festival of Lights on January 31, 2022. Imbolc is celebrated in honor of the Celtic goddess of light and the sun, Brigit. Her energy displaces winter (letting go), slowly awakens nature and heralds a new cycle (new beginnings). The goddess Brigit represents not only the poetry and healing arts, but also fertility and is the patron goddess of blacksmithing. For Druids, Brigit was also the goddess of truth. The Christians changed the name of this feast and it is known as Maria Light Mass.
You can use the Festival of Lights for your personal new beginnings, that which is especially close to your heart and that which we want to see grow and flourish. It is a very powerful energy.
Be inspired by the qualities and elements associated with the Goddess. You can place white candles at the place of your celebration, for decorating you can use e.g. moss, snowdrops, birch, etc. You can also write a poem, since Brigit is the goddess of poetry, or use one of the many poems available on the Internet.
This year, I was very inspired by the energy just before Imbolc and I handmade this bracelet. Inside the bracelet is a grown snowdrop and a few moonstone beads. It has a very special energy and I love to wear it.

The upcoming New Moon in Aquarius can be used not only for energetic cleansing and letting go, it is also excellent for celebrating new beginnings and manifesting wishes. February 1, 2022 is the festival of lights Imbolc in honor of the Celtic goddess Brigit, who stands for growth. But also the energy of the new moon initiates a new cycle.
Make sure your ingredients are either from your own garden, or from nature where you picked them during a walk. All ingredients must be dried. The resin should be dried for at least 1 year so that it does not produce too much smoke.
