The Rough Nights are 12 mystical nights from December 25 to January 6 each year. During this time the gate to the other world is wide open and it is easy for us to get in touch with spirits, angels, demons and the ancestors. This time was traditionally used for introspection. In the past, people did not leave the house at nightfall. Because in the darkness the Wild Hunt with the Percht or Wotan with his companions whirled through the area.
Today we can use this time to focus on the coming year and our goals and wishes.
Each night represents a month in the coming year: December 25 represents January, December 26 represents February, December 27 represents March, and so on.
Dreams will become true
On each day of these Rauhnächte you should pay special attention to your dreams. To do this, you can use a notebook and first thing in the morning to write down his dreams of the previous night in it and interpret. The dreams can come true in the respective month. Therefore, we should pay special attention to them.
Animals can speak
In addition, pay attention to animals, which sees on these days and which appear particularly. They have a special meaning, especially you can use the shamanic meaning to the power animals.
Weather brings indication of the new year
You should also pay attention to the weather and write down how it was in the respective Rauhnacht. Because as the weather on the respective day, the month will also be in the coming year.
Listen to yourselves and do introspection. Which inspirations do you have? How do you feel? Which moods do you perceive?
Also note down what happens on the respective day, e.g. in the family. Does someone special call? Are you meeting with someone?
You can also meditate a lot and you should also burn incense to clean the rooms energetically, but to get in better contact with the spirits.
