Bath salts DIY
Category : Take your time
You can easily make your own bath salts and either use them for yourself or give them to someone as a present. I’ll describe you the steps to make it and also how you can make a nice packaging for storage, which can be used as nice gift, too.
Bath salts
If you have roses in your garden or on your balcony, you can use them for your bath salts. Please take the type of rose that smells the most. For the Smoothie glass you need leaves of about 2-3 rose blossoms. You can dry them or if you do not have time, you could proceed as follows.
You need for preheat the oven to 60° degrees. Now carefully pluck off the petals and place them on a baking tray lined with baking paper. Place the baking tray in the oven and bake or dry the rose petals on the middle shelf for about 60 minutes. Then cool the dried petals.
There are two possibilities to produce the bath salt:
1. The salt, the dried rose petals and a teaspoon of almond oil are mixed together and then filled into the glass.
2. You only mix the salt and the rose petals and fill it into the glass, but you put the almond oil directly into the bath water when you use it.
You can also layer the ingredients. First a little salt, then a few rose petals, then another layer of salt and again a few rose petals etc.
Packaging & Storage
Cut a medium-sized circle out of the piece of cloth and place it around the lid of the closed glass. To help, put a rubber band over it and put the band over the rubber band and tie a nice bow. This way the unsightly rubber band is covered by the band.
Application
This bath salt can perfectly be used at new moon for cleaning body and soul and to enter then into the new cycle. It could also be used to cleaning your soul from negatives energies or after spiritual works and activities.
Ready is your bath salts!
