Toad

On an evening walk with my husband and my Labrador, I have discovered these toads and could not resist and take a photo.
As you can see a little blurred we are just in the mating season. Toads are nocturnal animals, they spawn near bodies of water and reproduce by the male climbing on the female to mate.

The toad, unlike the frog, is assigned to the element of earth. It is also called the messenger of Mother Earth. When the toad appears, it is a sign to reconnect more with Mother Nature and the ancient knowledge, to center oneself and to go into grounding.

The Toad invites one to look deeper, beyond what is visible to the eye, to see the inner beauty of things and to gain deep wisdom and insight into one’s own values. This knowledge can only be gained if we connect with our heart and let it guide us. The toad has many warts and invites us not to be impressed by outward appearances, but to fathom the essence behind it. 

Their volatility makes them lack reliability, but they enjoy the company of others very much and are true family people. She is quickly inspired by new ideas, so she also easily changes her mind or abandons her point of view to take a new position. The Toad invites to be flexible and adaptable while being open to new things.
